Spider Veins appearing on the legs can be treated with Sclerotherapy. This treatment is accomplished by injecting a sclerosing solution into the veins causing them to resorb and disappear over 6–12 weeks. The treatment is safe with minimal discomfort. Support hose must be worn immediately after the procedure, but no down time is required and a normal lifestyle can be resumed.

Unwanted Facial veins or telangiectasias can be treated with laser therapy. This is safe and quick treatment with a small amount of immediate redness and occasional minor bruising which should dissipate quickly. As with most laser procedures, there is a little discomfort and stinging during the procedure but it is short term and most patients tolerate it very well.
